Mr Aves has completely turned our girls maths around. They have gone from absolutely dreading it, getting incredibly upset about lessons and homework & getting really quite negatively worked up about it to being so much more confident & more importantly for us - not getting tearful when faced with impending lessons or homework.

Their results have improved hugely as well - one of them has gone from 67th in her year group to 40th and the other has gone from 94th to 46th! A phenominal improvement & much noted by the maths teacher at school.

Mr Aves is so diligent with his planned work for them, very engaging & even manages to make them laugh during his tuition time! He’s superb to communicate with from our point of view & easy to plan with depending what the girls have done in the week prior to the lesson.

I can’t recommend Mr Aves enough. He is knowledgable & passionate about his subject & manages to convey that to the children.
